Ernie Morgan was a faithful member of our 9:00 AM service here at Yorkshire, hardly ever missing a Sunday. Everyone who attended the early service came to know and love Ernie.

We remember with sadness that Ernie passed away on May 26 of this year. Since that time, we have continued pray in memory of his life.

Ernie’s family has made a special request of us…to take time to celebrate his life here at Yorkshire Church. This church was his spiritual home, and they felt it was fitting to gather here to remember Ernie and the blessing he was to so many.
They have chosen Saturday, October 17, at 11:00 AM for this special celebration of Ernie’s life. All are invited.

The family has also asked us to help serve a light luncheon following the service. We need a few volunteers to assist with some minor preparations and to help serve the meal. Cathy Mentzer has graciously agreed to coordinate the meal and preparations, but she could use some help as we offer this gift of hospitality to Ernie’s family and friends.
